Is Your Site Actually Being Indexed Correctly?

Every Collective Ltd engagement starts with a full technical audit — because you can't fix what you haven't measured.

Rankings don't lie — crawl errors do

Most SEO problems hide in the infrastructure, not the content.

A lot of sites in Romania and across the EU bleed organic traffic for months before anyone notices — not because of bad content, but because of broken canonicals, misrouted crawl budgets, or hreflang conflicts that silently exclude pages from the index. At Collective Ltd we run a structured audit before recommending anything else. That means you get a clear, prioritised list of what's actually costing you rankings — not a generic slide deck. We've worked across e-commerce, SaaS, and service businesses, and the pattern is consistent: the audit always surfaces the real issue, and fixing it first makes every subsequent action more effective.

What the audit uncovers — every time

Four diagnostic areas that separate guesswork from a genuine SEO strategy.

Crawlability gaps

We map exactly which pages Googlebot sees, which it skips, and why. Orphaned pages, crawl traps, and robots.txt conflicts are flagged with a concrete fix, not a vague recommendation.

Keyword cannibalisation

When two of your own pages compete for the same query, neither ranks well. We identify every cannibalisation conflict and restructure intent mapping so each URL has a distinct, rankable purpose.

Toxic link patterns

Not all backlinks help. We cross-reference your link profile against domain authority signals and spam markers, isolating links that suppress rankings and building a disavow or outreach plan to address them.

Content coverage gaps

An audit of existing pages against real search demand often reveals high-intent topics with zero coverage. We surface those gaps and map them to the content types — guides, comparison pages, FAQs — most likely to rank.

Collective Ltd audited our Romanian e-commerce site in March 2023 and found a canonical loop affecting over 400 product pages — pages we'd been paying to promote in Google Ads for six months. Within eight weeks of fixing the issues they identified, our non-branded organic traffic climbed 34%. I genuinely wish we'd done this two years earlier.

Questions you probably have before committing

What does an audit-first approach actually mean in practice?

It means we don't pitch keywords or content plans until we've analysed your site's technical health, crawl structure, and existing ranking footprint. The audit report — typically 40–60 pages for a mid-size site — becomes the master brief for all subsequent SEO work. Nothing is recommended without data backing it.

How long does the initial audit take?

For most sites with under 10,000 indexable URLs, we deliver the full audit report in 7–10 working days. Larger or more complex architectures (multi-language, multi-domain, subdomain setups) take up to 15 working days. We'll confirm the exact timeline when you share your domain details.

Do you work with businesses outside Romania?

Yes — we work with EU-based businesses across multiple industries. Our team is fluent in English and Romanian, and we regularly handle international SEO projects involving hreflang implementation, geo-targeting, and multilingual content architecture.

What happens after the audit?

You receive a prioritised fix list sorted by impact and effort. From there, you can implement fixes in-house using our guidance, or engage us for ongoing implementation. There's no obligation to continue with Collective Ltd after the audit — the report is yours to act on however you choose.
